However, before we have our big sale, we are going to have a three day booth at the Seymour Apple Festival!

We will be offering numerous varieties of repurposed and hand painted primitive items for both everyday decor as well as holidays.

One of the many items we will have are these adorable 'Nine Lives' kitty cans!

September Antique Sale - Seeking Vendors

Little Lambs Antiques and Primitives is planning their first ever sale.  Though we have plenty of wonderful antiques and primitive items we would like to invite vendors to be part of our sale so the whole little country home can be filled wall to wall!

We are already getting inquiries, however we want to let everyone know we still have space available.

There are a few 18sq ft spaces as well as 27sq ft spaces available.  Additionally, they are next to each other, so you could reserve two of them to make a large space for yourself.

Rent is only $1 per square foot!

All the rent money goes to pay for advertising before the event and electricity the day of the event.

Please contact Janet Lamb, who is in charge of the rental spaces, at 417-464-3553 with any questions or to reserve your space(s) while they are still available!

Little Lambs Antique's and Primitives has been a wee bit off the charts for a while.  Life happens; as we all know, and we all get busy.

However, we are happy to report we are back on track and preparing to sell again, both online, and at craft festivals!

First up, we are selling a beautiful and rare 1930's Hexagon scalloped edge quilt that can be found on eBay here.

Next, watch for future posts very soon about events we are preparing for including the Seymour Apple Festival and our very first Antique Sale on a very old farm in Seymour, MO!

Stay tuned!

Top 10 Collectibles for 2011

The January 2011 issue of Country Sampler featured an article on the "Top 10 Collectibles for 2011".
As a way of featuring our own products alongside the magazine's feature, we are going to quote the article and show you a few of our own products as a reference.

Number 3 in the Top Collectibles for 2011 is Miniature Cups.

According to Country Sampler; "Miniatures of almost anything have always been popular collectibles. Perhaps this is ture now more than ever because many people are downsixing their homes. Those homeowners may not have the display or storage space for an entire set of a standard-size dish pattern, but there is always room for some tiny, elegant cups. Some of these miniatures may be dollhouse pieces, parts of children's play tea sets or undersize demitasse cups.
Althought notas prevalent as their full-size counterparts, at least one or two tiny antiques cups are often found on the back shelves of cupboards and glass display cases in antique shops. Miniature cups enerally are valued at about the same as full-size renditions, perhaps a bit more. Different materials also affect the value; for example, an elegant handpainted porcelain cup would be worth substantially more than a run-of-the-mill ironstone, whether in full size or miniature."

Little Lamb Antiques is beginning to feature these same miniature tea cups with their saucers at amazing prices. One of which is this adorable, unique shaped cup and saucer set shown to the (right). It has a beautiful painted floral pattern with gleaming gold edging. For only $9.99 plus shipping you can add this super unique set to your collection.
