We stumbled upon this extremely rare find at an estate auction! Be sure to check it out if you are a butter mold lover/collector.
This specific cow butter stamp design is beyond rare and well over 100 year old (more likely closer to 150 years old).
In our searches at auctions, antique stores and even on online auction sites like eBay, we have only seen a couple. This one is in pristine condition, however, setting the bar so much higher than those previously seen.
You can see it on eBay now if you are interested in purchasing it.

Sale is in less than three weeks!
Flyers are going up all over the area; Seymour, Marshfield, Rogersville, Springfield, Ava... the list goes on. We have also ran into some of our lovely customers from the last sale who appear to be on pins and needles in anticipation for the Christmas Sale!
With less than three weeks away, we are busy at work getting things ready to ensure you have an amazing day of Christmas shopping!
We will post teaser pictures the evening before the sale; perhaps a few even during the week before.
All the indoor vendor spots are now taken, however we are still have spaces for vendors who would like to set up outside. We know it could very well be a little chilly (though we are hoping for a beautiful day).
If you have a 10x10 tent that you would like to set up, it is merely $25. If you would like to hookup electricity (say for a heater or cocoa maker!), it is an additional $5, and you need to provide your own drop cord (must be in good condition, no electrical tape keeping it together) to hook up to our surge protector.
If you are interested, contact Janet at 417-464-3553 and we will mail an application out to you.
So until closer to the sale, we may not post much, but that certainly doesn't mean we are not busy gathering hard to find treasures for you!
Have an amazing week!

Directions to Sale
It has come to our attention that several individuals who attempted to come to the last sale ended up getting turned around because of our lack of signs. We would like to address this.
We had put out 9 signs that day to make it impossible to miss the sale, however, unknown to us, an elderly gentleman who did not like the sign being so close to his home decided to not only move one of our signs, but actually turned it to go down AB highway instead of up C as it was supposed to be.
We were completely unaware of this on the day of the sale. Had we known, we would have corrected it immediately.
To avoid future confusion, we want everyone to know that you must travel down C Highway 2.5 miles and then turn right on V Highway. Then just 1.5 miles down V will be the sale.
We are sincerely sorry for the problems it caused, we were completely unaware of the misplaced sign until recently.
Closer to the November sale, we will post a visual map here on the blog to make sure no confusion happens again.
Thank you! We look forward to seeing you!

Christmas Open House approaches!
After our last sale, we decided that we needed one last big event before 2012 comes to a close. Therefore we are having a Christmas Sale on November 17th, from 8am to 3pm.
We are very much aware that this is the same day as the Ozark Craft Fair, however, with both events running all day, you have plenty of time to go to both! Actually, we very much encourage it!
We will have numerous vintage and antique Christmas items, as well as hand crafted ones. We will also have other antiques and primitives for you to feast your eyes on!
This will be an indoor event, so no need to freeze your toes off, we have you covered!
Check back often and also become a fan of our Facebook page to see sneak peak pictures as well as any other information we might have on it.

The first sale was a HUGE success!
September 22nd's sale was a big hit. We had visitors from all over Southwest Missouri, some from as far away as Arkansas!
Even before noon we had run out of pumpkins and the vendors were selling out!
Initially this was to be the only sale this year, as we planned to officially begin the monthly sales next year. However, this encouraging note has lead us to have an extra special Christmas Sale on November 17th!
Stay tuned for details and a big THANK YOU to all who came out!

A taste of what's to come!
Gathered a few items together to give everyone a very small sneak peak of what to expect at the Little Lambs Antiques & Primitives sale this Saturday.
This is just a small taste, I almost hate to share it. But don't worry, there will be many more pictures to come!
While all rooms will have a wide variety of authentic antiques and collectibles, each room will also have a section of seasonal items, including Halloween, fall and Christmas decor.
With all that will be available, you will certainly find something (if not many items) to decorate your home with.
Janet and Suzanne have a passion for antiques as well as quality handmade crafts; having the Little Lamb Antiques & Primitives sale is their way of sharing that passion with all the wonderful people in the area.
Be sure to check later on this week for a few more pictures to tease you with!

Apple Festival Success!
Even despite Friday's "Twister-like" conditions in the evening, the Seymour Apple Festival was a wonderful success.
Not only were we able to get the word about the sale out and meet some of the most lovely people around, we also had a lot of wonderful feedback about our primitive designs.
Many have asked, how will the Little Lambs Antiques and Primitives Sale be different?
For starters, there will be more than just handmade primitive items there. We will be offering unique and hard to find antiques as well. There will be a nice mix of holiday and everyday antiques that will have the avid collector excited as a child on Christmas morning!
Additionally, there are other vendors eager to show off their talented wares as well.
So be sure to mark September 22 on your calendar and come visit us!

Little Lamb Antique Sale - Opening up outside for dealers
We are getting a lot of interest for our upcoming September 22nd sale, and many vendors are asking for additional space to set up. So we want everyone to know we are beginning to map out spaces to rent outside of our little country home as well.
We still have a few places inside though, so whether you only need a small amount of space or would like the larger space that the great outdoors has to offer, give Janet a call at (417) 464-3553.

September Antique Sale - Seeking Vendors
Little Lambs Antiques and Primitives is planning their first ever sale. Though we have plenty of wonderful antiques and primitive items we would like to invite vendors to be part of our sale so the whole little country home can be filled wall to wall!
We are already getting inquiries, however we want to let everyone know we still have space available.
There are a few 18sq ft spaces as well as 27sq ft spaces available. Additionally, they are next to each other, so you could reserve two of them to make a large space for yourself.
Rent is only $1 per square foot!
All the rent money goes to pay for advertising before the event and electricity the day of the event.
Please contact Janet Lamb, who is in charge of the rental spaces, at 417-464-3553 with any questions or to reserve your space(s) while they are still available!

Little Lambs Antique's and Primitives has been a wee bit off the charts for a while. Life happens; as we all know, and we all get busy.
However, we are happy to report we are back on track and preparing to sell again, both online, and at craft festivals!
First up, we are selling a beautiful and rare 1930's Hexagon scalloped edge quilt that can be found on eBay here.
Next, watch for future posts very soon about events we are preparing for including the Seymour Apple Festival and our very first Antique Sale on a very old farm in Seymour, MO!
Stay tuned!
