Top 10 Collectibles for 2011

The January 2011 issue of Country Sampler featured an article on the "Top 10 Collectibles for 2011".
As a way of featuring our own products alongside the magazine's feature, we are going to quote the article and show you a few of our own products as a reference.

Number 3 in the Top Collectibles for 2011 is Miniature Cups.

According to Country Sampler; "Miniatures of almost anything have always been popular collectibles. Perhaps this is ture now more than ever because many people are downsixing their homes. Those homeowners may not have the display or storage space for an entire set of a standard-size dish pattern, but there is always room for some tiny, elegant cups. Some of these miniatures may be dollhouse pieces, parts of children's play tea sets or undersize demitasse cups.
Althought notas prevalent as their full-size counterparts, at least one or two tiny antiques cups are often found on the back shelves of cupboards and glass display cases in antique shops. Miniature cups enerally are valued at about the same as full-size renditions, perhaps a bit more. Different materials also affect the value; for example, an elegant handpainted porcelain cup would be worth substantially more than a run-of-the-mill ironstone, whether in full size or miniature."

Little Lamb Antiques is beginning to feature these same miniature tea cups with their saucers at amazing prices. One of which is this adorable, unique shaped cup and saucer set shown to the (right). It has a beautiful painted floral pattern with gleaming gold edging. For only $9.99 plus shipping you can add this super unique set to your collection.
